Daniel Kapadia

Founder of Mettle

I'm the founder of Mettle. I built it after the realization a lot of traders eventually have: the problem was rarely the strategy. It was doing the same undisciplined thing again after promising myself I wouldn't, with no honest record of it to learn from.

Before trading, I was an esports pro turned caster — you may have seen me on ELEAGUE, FACEIT, PGL, StarLadder, and the BLAST Majors. At that level the tape gets reviewed honestly after every match, win or lose, and that review discipline is exactly what I built Mettle to bring to my own trading.

Most journals I tried recorded what happened — entry, exit, P&L — but not why, so nothing actually changed. Mettle is the answer I wanted: a journal built around the review, where you log the play you meant to trade, score your own execution, tag the behavior behind it, and a coach reflects it back against your own history. The point is the feedback loop, not the logbook.

I write the guides and posts here from that seat — a founder building the tool, not a guru selling a system. Everything is grounded in how the product actually works, and I try to be candid about what is measured versus what is self-reported. None of it is financial advice; it's process and craft, the part of trading you can actually control.
